Rachael Somerville (Business Manager)
I joined the practice as the new Business Manager in September 2011. My working background consists of 20 years within Banking and following this, the role of Business Development Manager at a Dental practice.
I am responsible for managing the practice’s staff and budgets, developing its business strategy and making sure that everything runs smoothly.
Having had considerable experience in Management and administration, enabled me to draw on all my knowledge to ensure a reasonably smooth transition from old to new. As with every business I have to ensure we are efficient and cost effective for all tasks we undertake.
During the past 10 years it has been my privilege to move the Practice forward, empowering staff, supporting the GP’s, Nurses’, Dispensary and Administration staff to ensure we are a cohesive team.
I very much look forward to the next chapter, as I am sure it will be as exciting, challenging and rewarding as the last one!
You will know it’s me if you see me in the practice as I am the only one with multicoloured hair!
